After the success of Stanley’s special edition 50th anniversary Gold Powerlock 5m tape measure 0-33-361, Stanley have launched 4 more measuring and layout tools for every tradesman to add to his collection.

First off we have the Stanley mini chalk line 0-47-147. It is compact in size yet light and durable. Fitted with a 3:1 rewind gear ratio meaning the line retracts 3 times faster than a standard 1:1 reel.

When looking at the CT Xtra range, at first glance the most obvious difference from the standard CT is the design. The new design is a striking black and green and the pump itself is more compact in size which is great for those of you who are tight on space.

While on the jobsite everybody wants more power from their cordless tool. This extra power can be provided by larger motors, which in turn need higher capacity batteries that can get the power to the motor faster. This allows the motor to run for longer.

Stanley are launching a range of new tool storage products.

The first is the 3 in 1 mobile work centre toolbox STA179326 / 1-79-326. The bottom section has large 7” wheels making it easy to transport around the worksite with the pull handle. The detachable mid section can be used to store small parts and accessories. The top toolbox has small storage compartments on the top and it can be used individually in the same way as the other two sections. Large metal latches securely connect all the units together. The huge storage volume that this toolbox offers makes it perfect for everything from you large power tools right through to your tiny screws and fixings.

Dewalt have released their DCR016 XR Li-ion FM/AM radio and the DCR017 XR Li-ion DAB Digital radio charger.

The blow moulded roll cage has six impact resistance points, maximising its durability and life on the job site. It will be able to withstand the journeys in the back of the van and the bumps of the building site.
