Our roots go way back to the 1960’s and with the name Godfreys. Godfreys originated in Enfield as a plumbing and heating merchant, with some of the Godfreys family moving to Lowestoft, Suffolk and in the late 70s and doing a similar thing from the east coast. The business grew and it became large enough to acquire a home improvement retail store in 1991. It is from these traditional bricks and mortar businesses that the foundations and initial supplier connections of the Buyaparcel.com online store were established.
The Buyaparcel.com trading name was created in 2007 but continues to trade on the back of the original business foundations dealing with many of the biggest brands in our sector for over 20 years.
Originally trading under the Godfreys Online name in the early 2000’s until 2007 when the trading name of Buyaparcel.com was born. We have continued to supply both trade and retail customers via our online Buyaparcel.com ecommerce store, our retail setting in Lowestoft, and via the marketplaces; eBay, ManoMano and Amazon.
The new company name was formed in 2007 to service the online market, but eventually developed its own bricks and mortar outlets in the form of Godfreys Trade Counter and Godfreys Kitchens and Bathrooms, as the old name LRG was starting to struggle and in some hot water, as you may or may not off seen with the TV show with Mary Portas.
As an independent online business we have a good position in the market due to our strong brand partnerships and marketplace relationships. The partnerships forged with suppliers and marketplaces has given us industry and consumer metrics that we can adapt to rapidly and have seen some steady growth throughout our journey as a result of years of hard work and dedication.
We have moved and upscaled a few times to keep up with the demand and stock profile that is needed to be kept to be trading at a high level, in the last year or so we have added and built and extention onto our existing building to add more stock lines, and stock more products.
Our stock profile continues to expand every year while adding to existing brands by become approved dealers for the likes of, Dewalt, Milwaukee, Bosch, Makita and many more.

Obviously getting the orders out is still a priority so we deal with Royal Mail, Evri and DHL who all collect on a daily bases to ensure your parcel gets collected the same day.
As the company has grown over the years it has seen the local Godfreys Kitchen & bathroom showroom and the Plumbing & Heating counter expand with the company having a local trade counter so you can also arrange a click and collect process for any online Buyaparcel order aswell as popping in to browse the local store or purchase instore.
