Description
This is the Monarch Micropure Aquapro AP50 Water Filter.
It replaces Monarch's own Micropure tap, AP50 and Liff's water conditioning system N-RSK cartridge NSK13

How to install The Monarch AP50
Firstly turn the water supply off by turning the red circled 'T' valve clockwise, until it stops, (as shown in picture 3).
Support this valve by holding it at the back whilst turning it clockwise.
Then open the tap to vent it and to remove any water from it.
Carry out the cartridge change, leave the tap vented and slowly turn back on the water by turning the 'T' valve anti-clockwise until it stops.

Importantly, turn a little clockwise after this to prevent the valve sticking in the future.
Full Instructions
1. Locate the tap around the back or side edge of the sink ensuring the tap spout overhangs the sink bowl and you have access to the thread of the tap for when tightening in position. If possible, dot punch the chosen position prior to any drilling. Drill a small guide hole in the chosen position prior to a ½” hole and install and secure tap.
2. Using the screw provided, fix the bracket to the sidewall of the unit. The diagram shows two positions, it is recommended to fit the bracket in the middle whenever possible.
3. Ensure the piercing lance in the middle of the Saddle Valve is not protruding. If it is, turn handle anticlockwise until it does not protrude the rubber seal. Failure to do this will result in scratching of the copper pipe and possible cause a leak through the rubber seal. Locate and tighten the Saddle Valve onto the pipework using the spacer provided, between the brass threaded bolt and the copper pipe. Do not turn the ‘T’ bar handle until the installation is complete.
4. Cut both the red and blue tubes to length allowing significant spare, and camphor both ends to remove sharp edges.

6. Lubricate the tubes with Vaseline and push the tubes into the relevant connections approx 2cm until they stop – see flow arrow on filter. Red tube equals inlet supply from mains and Blue tube equals from filter to tap.

8. Turn ‘T’ bar handle on the Saddle Valve clockwise until it stops. Then turn anti-clockwise until it is fully open, turn back again clockwise for 2 full turns. The additional 2 turns clockwise, prevent it sticking in the open position. Water will now begin to flow through the filter. Low flow means either a. You have low pressure, or b. The Saddle Valve has not pierced the pipe properly. If so repeat the procedure.
9. Before use, flush the filter for approx 20 litres and/or until the water runs clear.
10. Close tap and check for leaks
11. For best performance run water until ‘chill to touch’.

What courier will my item be delivered with?
If your item is being delivered in the UK or Ireland, it will be delivered by UK Mail/DHL, Hermes or Royal Mail, with the exception of pallet items.
If you are an international customer, your goods will initially be sent via UK Mail/DHL, and then exported to either Eurodis or DHL. The appropriate tracking can be provided when necessary.

Is My Item Available for Click and Collect at your Lowestoft Store?
If your item is showing "In Stock" then you will be able to do a Same Day Click and Collect order from our Lowestoft Pinbush Road. Our cut off for same day collections is 3.00pm Mon-Fri / 11.00am Saturday. After that the product will be ready the next day for collection. After the cut off you are welcome to do a Call and Collect order by phoning our trade counter on 01502 507666. If your item is in stock you will still be able to do a same day collection and payment.
Our store is open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm so any orders placed the remainder of the weekend will be available for collection on Monday. Weekdays any orders placed up to midnight will be available for collection the following day. This excludes bank holidays.
