Reviews
The DTM53 is a cordless multi tool powered by an 18V LXT Li-Ion battery, and designed to be compatible with OIS accessories.
This model offers high work efficiency by adopting a brushless motor and excellent manoeuvrability with a slimmer grip.
Like its bigger brothers the DTM52 and DTM51 the DTM53 has a quick release option for ease of blade change.
Features
With a brushless motor and constant speed control, the tool delivers high efficiency even under load
Small diameter barrel grip for improved handling and comfort
Tool-less clamp system for fast accessory installation
Compatible with accessories in the Oscillating Interface System (OIS), and STARLOCK accessories
An optional depth gauge allows the user to work at the intended cutting depth or height
Anti-restart function minimizes accidental start-up
Variable speed control dial enables the user to match the speed to the application
Soft start feature for smooth start-up
12 angle settings at every 30° from 0° to 360°
Dust extraction system is available as an option for aggressive dust removal in applications with the sanding pad
3.2° Oscillation angle engineered for faster, more aggressive cutting and sanding
Easy-to-operate slide switch for continuous use and improved efficiency
Compact design for easy handling in tight spaces
Lightweight design minimizes fatigue during extended use
Ideal for wood flooring, tile, plaster, drywall, PVC, and a variety of other applications
Includes assorted net sanding sheets
The net structure prevents clogging and performs with higher efficiency than traditional sanding papers. The number on the sanding net indicates the roughness of the abrasive grain. The lower the number, the rougher the sanding grit is. The higher the number on the sanding net, the finer it is. Sanding nets are easy to install thanks to the hook and loop fastening. Net sanding abrasives must always be used with a pad saver to ensure the tool's pad stays clean and free from damage.
