The Makita DMR301 is the radio you have all been waiting for. Makita have developed the DMR301 to include both Bluetooth and Digital DAB radio and be powered by their 12v and 18v batteries.

When the product is plugged into the mains via the included AC adapter your DMR301 radio will then charge your 12v / 18v batteries - a first for any Makita Radio. The built in charger can charge a BL1830 3.0ah Battery in as little as 38 minutes. Run time on the DMR301 radio is up to 24.7 hours with an 18V LXT Li-ion 6.0 Ah BL1860 battery.

When using the Makita radio out on site you have the facility to us both Makita’s CXT or LXT Lithium-Ion batteries, that can be found in Makita’s cordless power tools range, this radio provides total convenience and cost efficiency.

The Makita DMR301 DAB DAB Plus Job Site Bluetooth Radio Charger features the ability to power the radio with an AC adapter or Makita lithium batteries 18v LXT / 12v CXT /10.8v CXT. This radio is not compatible with G-Series Battery or Ni-CAD or Ni-MH Batteries

DAB+ is the current standard across much of Europe with the main advantage of being three times more efficient, carries far more radio stations than DAB, and at a far higher audio quality. DAB+ is also a much greener technology because the overall transmission power required is far lower.

Equipped with class 2 Bluetooth connectivity a mobile device is wirelessly connected to play your choice of music. The Bluetooth range is 10 metres. A retractable aerial gives access to AM and FM radio and the rotary digital tuner and pre-set buttons are clear on the front fascia of the radio. An auxiliary IN jack is provided as is a USB port which enables a mobile device to be charged from either the operating batteries or through mains power.

It has two large 89mm side firing stereo speakers which provide a rich and powerful sound.

Warranty

Makita has built a reputation for outstanding Service Care, which supports regular repair and part replacement. Makita will fix and service any Makita Powertool or accessory, even those models that may now be discontinued or obsolete.

Makita 3 Year Warranty

The 3 year warranty applies to tools purchased on or after July 1st 2012. This excludes batteries, chargers, outdoor power equipment, airtools and accessories. These are all supplied with a standard years warranty.

Tools must be registed online on Makita UK Warranty Registration Page within 30 days of purchase to qualify for the warranty extension otherwise a standard 1 year warranty will apply.

Any warranty claims outside of the 1st year but within the second or 3rd must be dealt with directly by Makita.

What if my product becomes faulty?

Any warranty claim must be logged within the warranty period. This involves sending the tool complete packaged to a local dealer or Authorised Service agent with the 3 year certificate and the original sales receipt.

What courier will my item be delivered with?

If your item is being delivered in the UK or Ireland, it will be delivered by UK Mail/DHL, Hermes or Royal Mail, with the exception of pallet items.

If you are an international customer, your goods will initially be sent via UK Mail/DHL, and then exported to either Eurodis or DHL. The appropriate tracking can be provided when necessary.

Is My Item Available for Click and Collect at your Lowestoft Store?

In stock - Available for next day delivery

If your item is showing "In Stock" then you will be able to do a Same Day Click and Collect order from our Lowestoft Pinbush Road. Our cut off for same day collections is 3.00pm Mon-Fri / 11.00am Saturday. After that the product will be ready the next day for collection. After the cut off you are welcome to do a Call and Collect order by phoning our trade counter on 01502 507666. If your item is in stock you will still be able to do a same day collection and payment.

Our store is open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm so any orders placed the remainder of the weekend will be available for collection on Monday. Weekdays any orders placed up to midnight will be available for collection the following day. This excludes bank holidays.
