The Universe Soft Close Toilet Seat is a durable, versatile and contemporary toilet seat with a contemporary design. The Universe seat fits most toilets and features a quick release button to allow the seat to lift away, leaving clear access to clean hard to reach surfaces thoroughly. Incorporated in the seat are chrome plated soft-closing hinges allowing a controlled and quiet closure of the sear and ring.
Top & Bottom fix hinge system allows easy installation; conventional fixings are also supplied.
There are two types of toilet seat fixings: Bottom Fixings and Top Fixings. Top fixing toilets seats work by feeding two bolts into the pan which are then tightened from the top. Bottom toilet seat fixings are fitted from the top and then tightened from underneath, often with wing nuts.
The Universe seat is made from a thermoset plastic for durability which has UV protection to prevent the seat from discolouring.
For peace of mind Roper Rhodes offer a 5 year guarantee.
