The Festool TSC 55 KSEB-Basic is engineered for precision and professional results. This 18V cordless plunge saw delivers exceptional cutting performance with the power and control of a corded saw. Designed to deliver full cutting performance with the convenience of cordless operation, this compact and lightweight plunge saw is immediately ready for use and perfectly suited to daily professional tasks such as cutting panels, trimming worktops, sizing doors and making precise plunge cuts directly against walls.
Its balanced design and ergonomic handling make it exceptionally comfortable to use, while the slim housing allows flush cuts and clean alignment with the guide rail system for consistently accurate results.
At the heart of the TSC 55 KS is a powerful brushless EC-TEC motor, delivering up to 5,200 rpm and working in harmony with Festool’s advanced power electronics and a single 18 V battery system.
Paired with Festool’s specially developed 1.6 mm thin-kerf saw blades, the saw achieves fast, clean cuts with reduced resistance, improved efficiency and longer battery life. The result is outstanding cutting quality across a wide range of materials, with smooth progress and excellent endurance even during extended work sessions.
Safety is a core focus of the TSC 55 KS, highlighted by the integrated KickbackStop technology. This intelligent, sensor-based system detects kickback in a fraction of a second and immediately stops the blade, significantly reducing the risk of injury and protecting both the user and the workpiece.
Precision control is further enhanced by the exact depth setting system, featuring a clear dual-pointer scale for quick, accurate adjustments and a fine-adjustment function for dialling in cutting depth with absolute accuracy.
The saw offers a cutting depth of up to 55 mm, or 43 mm at 45°, with an angular range from -1° to 47°, making it highly versatile for bevel cuts and detailed fitting work. Whether used with or without a guide rail, depth and angle settings remain easy to read, repeatable and reliable.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
The TSC 55 KS is designed to support healthier, cleaner working conditions. It offers effective low-dust operation either by using a dust collection bag or by connecting to a Festool extractor with automatic start-up, delivering near dust-free cutting.

Is My Item Available for Next Day Delivery?
If your item is stocked in our immediate picking location it will available for you to choose a next day delivery. This will be highlighted by a green tick and a 1 day dispatch time on the item information. 
You will have the option to choose this service if you are purchasing your item for delivery to mainland UK.
What courier will my item be delivered with?
If your item is being delivered in the UK or Ireland, it will be delivered by DHL eCopmmerce UK, Evri or Royal Mail, with the exception of pallet items.

Is My Item Available for Click and Collect at your Lowestoft Store?
If your item is showing "In Stock" then you will be able to do a Same Day Click and Collect order from our Lowestoft Pinbush Road. Our cut off for same day collections is 3.00pm Mon-Fri / 11.00am Saturday. After that the product will be ready the next day for collection. After the cut off you are welcome to do a Call and Collect order by phoning our trade counter on 01502 507666. If your item is in stock you will still be able to do a same day collection and payment.
Our store is open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm so any orders placed the remainder of the weekend will be available for collection on Monday. Weekdays any orders placed up to midnight will be available for collection the following day. This excludes bank holidays.

On collection we will require you to show a copy of your order confirmation, electronic or printed. In addition to this please bring photo ID which must be your passport or photo driving licence, matching the name on the PayPal/Amazon/Credit or Debit card used.

1 - From the product page you can use Paypal Express Checkout which will take you straight to your Paypal account where you can login to complete payment or apply for Paypal Credit.
2 - If you add your product to your parcel and click "Proceed to Checkout" you will then go to our payment page. Select "Paypal Express Checkout" from the payment methods available and click "Place Order".
Once you are in your Paypal account choose PayPal Credit from the payment options.
