Flawless: Drawing cut and spiral blade for particularly fine surface quality.
Versatile: Chamfering with three integrated 90° V grooves in the planer foot.
For large-scale chip removal: Thanks to the two different extraction channels, the planer is also suitable for continuous applications with greater chip removal.
Flexible: Extractor connector attachable on both sides for convenient working, the suction hose is not in the way.
Convenient: Removable chamfer adaptor for fast and accurate creation of chamfers for beams and square timbers.
Handy: Easy guidance of the planer on the workpiece thanks to ergonomic design.
Quiet: The spiral blade reduces the noise level considerably.
Precise: Chip depth adjustment (0–2.5 mm) on the dial – simple and convenient, easily accessible, even during planing.
Compatible: With all Festool 18V battery packs (except Ergopack).
Powerful: The brushless EC-TEC motor ensures constant power, even at maximum chip depth.
Efficient: The quick-acting brake brings the planer to a standstill in less than two seconds, thereby minimising the risk of injury and damage to the workpiece.
The handy HLC 82 cordless planer is your reliable companion on the construction site and in the workshop when it comes to quick adjustment work. Chamfering of beams, edge transitions of wooden wallboards, rebates on doors, adjustments to skirting or infill panels: With the cordless planer, you are flexible in your application. The Festool 5.0Ah 18V AirStream Battery Pack with Bluetooth is the all-rounder, all-singing, all-performing heart of Festool cordless range.
The powerful all-rounder performs impressively with excellent output and long running times per battery charge because of the perfect combination of the battery pack with brushless EC-TEC motors.
Thanks to AIRSTREAM technology, the battery pack is actively cooled with the AIRSTREAM rapid charger before and during the charging procedure, meaning that it is ready for use again extremely quickly with maximum charging power.
With built-in Bluetooth connectivity, you can automatically start a paired mobile dust extractor as soon as you activate your power tool, thereby ensuring you have a clean working environment, free from dust and debris.
Furthermore, stay future-proofed. The Festool WorkApp enables clever additional functions in combination with the Bluetooth function of the battery pack, such as the detailed display of the charging status and further operating data such as temperature or charging cycles.
To quickly and easily identify the battery with the lowest charge status, you can flash the LED indicator directly on the battery pack. Software updates are also possible: Install the newest version to work with the latest tool functions at all times
Please note that this battery is not suitable for ETSC 125, RTSC 400, DTSC 400, CTC SYS
Features
Convenient: Bluetooth® enables the CLEANTEC mobile dust extractor to be started automatically when the cordless tool is switched on (use of a Bluetooth®-compatible mobile dust extractor is required)
For stress-free work: The battery packs are, of course, completely covered with Festool Service
Powerful all-rounder: 5.0 Ah battery packs for endurance and power development for all applications
Practical: LED display quickly shows the remaining battery capacity
Quicker charging: In combination with the SCA 8 AIRSTREAM rapid charger, the battery pack is charged quickly and effectively with active cooling before and during the charging procedure
Safe: All-round frame made from soft-grip material for protecting the machine and setting it down safely on inclined surfaces
With smart extensions: The Festool WorkApp enables clever additional functions in combination with the Bluetooth® function of the battery pack, such as the detailed display of the charging status and further operating data such as temperature or charging cycles.
