The Faithfull Back Pull Saw is ideal for woodworking and precision cutting. It's blade boasts a fine 21-teeth per inch design which is triple-ground, providing a smooth cut and a longer lifespan. The blade is constructed using SK5 steel and features a chemical nickel plating that enhances it's resistance to wear and corrosion. This saw incorporates a spine affixed to the blade for additional support and ease of use.
FSC-certified wood is used in the manufacture of this product. Wood products with FSC certification undergo a rigorous set of environmental, social, and economic requirements to be considered sustainable and responsibly sourced.
A pull saw is a type of handsaw that cuts when pulled toward the user, as opposed to a traditional saw that cuts when pushed away. Pull saws are widely used in woodworking and carpentry due to their efficiency and precision.
Pull saws have many benefits compared to saws which cut on the push action including:
• Precision: Pull saws are known for their precision and accuracy, making them ideal for intricate woodworking tasks that require fine cuts.
• Clean Cuts: The thin kerf and sharp teeth of pull saws result in clean cuts with minimal tear-out, leaving smoother edges on the workpiece.
• Efficiency: The pull stroke design of the saw allows for efficient cutting with less effort compared to traditional push saws.
• Control: The cutting action is achieved by pulling the saw towards you, which allows for greater control and accuracy compared to pushing.
