The DEWALT DCS525NT Plunge Saw is powered by a powerful brushless motor. Variable speed control allows you to adjust the cutting speed to suit different materials and applications. Whilst the splinter guard helps to reduce tear-out and chipping on laminated and faced materials for a cleaner finish.
It also has a 3mm scribe stop for controlled scoring cuts and a -1° undercut capability: Supports tight, accurate fit-ups when joining panels and edges. Ideal for plunge cuts, trimming and sizing sheet materials where controlled entry is required.
Features
18V XR BRUSHLESS MOTOR: Enhanced efficiency and durability.
CUTTING ACCURACY AND FINISH QUALITY: For woodworking as well as performance for general construction jobs thanks to the plunge system.
PRECISE STRAIGHT CUTS: Always cuts along the cutting line with guide rails provided with 1 m, 1.5m and 2.6m length.
CLEANER CUTS: Scribe cut stop reduces chipping on both sides of faced and laminated materials.
REDUCED TEAR OUT: Splinter guard eliminates tear out and chipping of laminated materials to the right side of the blade.
HIGH SURFACE FINISH: -1⁰ Undercut capability allows very tight and accurate fit of joining sides.
SMOOTH CUTTING: Rail adjustment allows the saw to be adjusted accurately to the guide rail.
EASY BLADE CHANGE: The intuitive, minimum step blade change provides ease of use and quick set-up time.
IMPROVED SAFETY: The anti kickback function stops the saw from moving backwards along the rail and helps stop the saw from climbing out of the work piece when making plunge cuts.
