General Questions on the DCC1018N-XJ
What is the “FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE” for the DCC1018N cordless compressor?
A: With 18V batteries the compressor can build 8,3 bars (=120 PSI) pressure inside the tank. With a Flexvolt 54V battery it can
reach 10 BARS (=145 psi). The outlet pressure is regulated and limited to adapt to the fastening tools but a higher pressure
ensures longer time between two compressor restarts which ensures a more comfortable working environment.
Q: What is the recommended usage for the DCC1018N?
A: Predominantly any fastening application with particular focus on finishing (but not limited to this)
Q: What is the weight of the DCC1018N compressor?
A: Without hose the compressor weight is 11kg (12kg with the battery attached)
Q: Is a hose provided with the DCC1018N? What is the recommended hose?
A: No hose is provided. In general, a shorter than usual hose is recommended as the unit can be carried around easily
Q: What is the warranty on the DCC1018N?
A: 1 year.

Q: What is a one turn regulator on the DCC1018N?
A: Traditionally, compressors have two separate gauges, one that measures tank pressure, and the other that measures the actual regulated output pressure flowing through the couplers and into the air tools. To adjust the regulated pressure on these compressors, you have to turn the regulator knob and wait for the regulated pressure gauge to catch up. Rather than having a separate regulated pressure gauge, the regulated pressure is controlled by the OneTurn™ regulator. The user is able to set the OneTurn™ regulator knob to the desired BAR and the compressor will then self regulate (just like the knob on a gas stove that
controls the flame).
Q: How do I know when the DCC1018N has reached required pressure?
A: The knob adjustment is instantaneous. Only if the compressor is building up pressure, you might need to wait for the pump to stop to be sure the outlet reached the wanted pressure
Q: What is the logic on DCC1018N OneTurn?
A: It is pneumatic/mechanical, not electronic
Q: How precise is the DCC1018N OneTurn? Do we have a percentage?
A: Approximately +/-0.3 bar
