The 8.0 Ah XR Battery is built using the latest Li-Ion tabless cells to deliver high-performance results in even the most demanding applications. As our most powerful and efficient battery, it offers the longest lifespan in its class, and its inbuilt protection against overheating, overload and deep discharge further extends its service life.
Features
The most efficient battery from Dewalt maintain exceptional power through all operations
Maximises the efficiency and potential of any of your DeWalt 18V XR power Tools
Inbuilt protection against overheat, overload and deep discharge
Utilises Tabless technology to provide exceptional performance in demanding jobs
No memory effect and virtually no self-discharge for maximum productivity
Compatible with all 18V XR slide on tools and XR chargers.
Why Choose a Dewalt Tabless Battery?
More Power - DEWALT XR tabless batteries deliver up to 50% more power than comparable traditional 18V batteries.
This is especially noticeable on high-demand tools such as circular saws, grinders, hammer drills, and impact wrenches.
Longer Battery Life - Lower resistance means less heat generation during charging and use. Reduced heat helps extend the battery's overall lifespan and charge-cycle durability.
Better Performance Under Heavy Loads - Tabless cells can deliver higher current more efficiently, helping tools maintain performance during demanding tasks.
Improved Efficiency - More of the battery's energy reaches the tool instead of being lost as heat. This can result in more consistent power delivery and potentially improved runtime in demanding applications.
Full Compatibility - DEWALT XR POWERPACK tabless batteries remain compatible with existing DEWALT 18v tools and chargers, so you don't need to replace your system.
