The Makita DUH606 LXT Hedge Trimmer has a brushless maintenance-free and long-life motor. Its compact, lightweight design increases maneuverability. There is also an easy to press switch lever for comfortable control. Fitted with an electric brake for maximum productivity and increased operator safety.

Equipped with Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions. A battery protection circuit protects against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating.

The Makita DUH606Z 18V LXT 600mm Brushless Hedge Trimmer is a lightweight yet powerful garden hedge trimmer that runs at 4000 strokes per minute.

With a blade length of 600mm, the teeth on the blade are set in a way to making cutting easier so that branches are better held in place for the cut.

Capable of dealing with branches up to 20mm thick, the hedge trimmer features a front handle switch as well as constant speed control for prolonged and continuous use. The electric brake will automatically shut down the trimmer in case it comes up against any kind of obstruction, while the switch level is easy to press and doesn’t rely on the front handle being pressed as well.

Comfortable to hold as well as control thanks to the durable and ergonomically designed handle while a special coating ensures a long operational life of the blades.

The Makita DUH606Z 18V LXT 600mm Brushless Hedge Trimmer also includes eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) that is engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh job site conditions.

Warranty

Makita has built a reputation for outstanding Service Care, which supports regular repair and part replacement. Makita will fix and service any Makita Powertool or accessory, even those models that may now be discontinued or obsolete.

Makita 3 Year Warranty

The 3 year warranty applies to tools purchased on or after July 1st 2012. This excludes batteries, chargers, outdoor power equipment, pneumatic/airtools, petrol driven tools, gas nailers, clothes and accessories. These are all supplied with a standard years warranty.

Tools must be registed online on Makita UK Warranty Registration Page within 30 days of purchase to qualify for the warranty extension otherwise a standard 1 year warranty will apply.

Any warranty claims outside of the 1st year but within the second or 3rd must be dealt with directly by Makita.

These extended warranties cover free of charge repairs due to defects in workmanship or materials from original date of purchase, as per Makita terms and conditions.

Registration is required for extended warranty at no cost.

Proof of purchase is mandatory for ALL extended warranty claims submitted.

As of 1st April 2025, Makita batteries and chargers are now covered by a 2 year warranty - registration not required.

What if my product becomes faulty?

Any warranty claim must be logged within the warranty period. This involves sending the tool complete packaged to a local dealer or Authorised Service agent with the 3 year certificate and the original sales receipt.

Subject to inspection, the product will be repaired free of charge. Costs may be incurred for any warranty claims that are deemed invalid.

What courier will my item be delivered with?

If your item is being delivered in the UK or Ireland, it will be delivered by DHL eCopmmerce UK, Evri or Royal Mail, with the exception of pallet items.

Is My Item Available for Click and Collect at your Lowestoft Store?

In stock - Available for next day delivery

If your item is showing "In Stock" then you will be able to do a Same Day Click and Collect order from our Lowestoft Pinbush Road. Our cut off for same day collections is 3.00pm Mon-Fri / 11.00am Saturday. After that the product will be ready the next day for collection. After the cut off you are welcome to do a Call and Collect order by phoning our trade counter on 01502 507666. If your item is in stock you will still be able to do a same day collection and payment.

Our store is open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm so any orders placed the remainder of the weekend will be available for collection on Monday. Weekdays any orders placed up to midnight will be available for collection the following day. This excludes bank holidays.
