The Makita AF506 replaces the popular AF505 Nailer.
The Makita AF506 18 Gauge 2-inch Brad Nailer, features a durable and compact design with ease-of-use features including a narrow-nose design that makes it ideal for a wide variety of finish applications.
The AF506 can operate from 70 to 120 PSI, and drives a range of 18 gauge brad nails from 5/8” to 2-inch, and has a magazine capacity up to 100 nails. The cast-and-machined nose piece is engineered for precise contact with the workpiece, with a non-marring rubber nose engineered to protect the work surface.
Additional features include an ultra-narrow nose design that is ideal for fastening in confined areas, and a convenient “tool-less” depth adjustment dial that can be set for a wide variety of finish applications. For added convenience, the multi-directional exhaust port rotates 360 degrees to direct exhaust air away from the user.

Makita 3 Year Warranty
The 3 year warranty applies to tools purchased on or after July 1st 2012. This excludes batteries, chargers, outdoor power equipment, pneumatic/airtools, petrol driven tools, gas nailers, clothes and accessories. These are all supplied with a standard years warranty.
Tools must be registed online on Makita UK Warranty Registration Page within 30 days of purchase to qualify for the warranty extension otherwise a standard 1 year warranty will apply.
Any warranty claims outside of the 1st year but within the second or 3rd must be dealt with directly by Makita.
These extended warranties cover free of charge repairs due to defects in workmanship or materials from original date of purchase, as per Makita terms and conditions.
Registration is required for extended warranty at no cost.
Proof of purchase is mandatory for ALL extended warranty claims submitted.

As of 1st April 2025, Makita batteries and chargers are now covered by a 2 year warranty - registration not required.
What if my product becomes faulty?
Any warranty claim must be logged within the warranty period. This involves sending the tool complete packaged to a local dealer or Authorised Service agent with the 3 year certificate and the original sales receipt.

Subject to inspection, the product will be repaired free of charge. Costs may be incurred for any warranty claims that are deemed invalid.

Is My Item Available for Next Day Delivery?
If your item is stocked in our immediate picking location it will available for you to choose a next day delivery. This will be highlighted by a green tick and a 1 day dispatch time on the item information. 
You will have the option to choose this service if you are purchasing your item for delivery to mainland UK.
What courier will my item be delivered with?
If your item is being delivered in the UK or Ireland, it will be delivered by DHL eCopmmerce UK, Evri or Royal Mail, with the exception of pallet items.

Is My Item Available for Click and Collect at your Lowestoft Store?
If your item is showing "In Stock" then you will be able to do a Same Day Click and Collect order from our Lowestoft Pinbush Road. Our cut off for same day collections is 3.00pm Mon-Fri / 11.00am Saturday. After that the product will be ready the next day for collection. After the cut off you are welcome to do a Call and Collect order by phoning our trade counter on 01502 507666. If your item is in stock you will still be able to do a same day collection and payment.
Our store is open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm so any orders placed the remainder of the weekend will be available for collection on Monday. Weekdays any orders placed up to midnight will be available for collection the following day. This excludes bank holidays.

On collection we will require you to show a copy of your order confirmation, electronic or printed. In addition to this please bring photo ID which must be your passport or photo driving licence, matching the name on the PayPal/Amazon/Credit or Debit card used.
