The DeWalt DCC1054N 54V XR Flexvolt 10 Litre Air Compressor has now been replaced with the DCC1018N so can use both standard 18v batteries and Flex Volt batteries.
What is the difference between the Dewalt DCC1054N and the DCC1018N?
The answer in short is that you get a longer run time with the newer DCC1018N compared to the DCC1054N, without compromising on performance.
Although now an 18v / 54v machine the DCC1018 contains a pack ID so has improved performance when used with a FlexVolt battery to replicate what the user had with the previous model.
For example in terms of free air delivery at 7bar they are similar with both have 31L/M, both similar performance, the positive difference may come in runtime. The newer 18v DCC1018N unit will pump for longer periods than the 54v in order to keep the same air flow. So when using the compressor with a nailer, the user wouldnt experience any difference in performance but the run time would be enhanced.
The DCC1018N is a lightweight and portable compressor designed to be carried flush against the users leg. Can be run on both 18v or 54v Flexvolt batteries.
With a standard 18v DCB184 5.0ah 18v battery for example you don’t get the same performance as a Flexvolt battery but it can now be used to operate the machine.
The heavy duty roll cage gives the DCC1018N enhanced durability and the brushless oil free motor provides reliability and eliminates the frequent wear and tear associated with stroke motors.

The Dewalt 3 year warranty applies to tools purchased on or after January 1st 2004.
Tools must be registered online on Dewalt Power Tools Warranty Registration Page to qualify for the warranty extension otherwise a standard 1 year warranty will apply.
This excludes batteries, chargers, outdoor power equipment,airtools and accessories. These are all supplied with a standard years warranty.

Is My Item Available for Next Day Delivery?
If your item is stocked in our immediate picking location it will available for you to choose a next day delivery. This will be highlighted by a green tick and a 1 day dispatch time on the item information. 
You will have the option to choose this service if you are purchasing your item for delivery to mainland UK.
What courier will my item be delivered with?
If your item is being delivered in the UK or Ireland, it will be delivered by DHL eCopmmerce UK, Evri or Royal Mail, with the exception of pallet items.

Is My Item Available for Click and Collect at your Lowestoft Store?
If your item is showing "In Stock" then you will be able to do a Same Day Click and Collect order from our Lowestoft Pinbush Road. Our cut off for same day collections is 3.00pm Mon-Fri / 11.00am Saturday. After that the product will be ready the next day for collection. After the cut off you are welcome to do a Call and Collect order by phoning our trade counter on 01502 507666. If your item is in stock you will still be able to do a same day collection and payment.
Our store is open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm so any orders placed the remainder of the weekend will be available for collection on Monday. Weekdays any orders placed up to midnight will be available for collection the following day. This excludes bank holidays.
Please wait for email confirmation your order is ready for collection from our store before you travel.
On collection we will require you to show a copy of your order confirmation, electronic or printed. In addition to this please bring photo ID which must be your passport or photo driving licence, matching the name on the PayPal/Amazon/Credit or Debit card used.
