Stanley hand tools are a long established and award winning producer of quality hand tools. Since 1857 they have been manufacturing measuring equipment and began making all type of hand tools in the 1920s.
Over the years, Stanley Tools has produced some of the most innovative and useful tools ever made. Among these tools are the classic PowerLock tape measure and most recently the ever growing FatMax line of products. In 1936 they created the first ever utility knife that would eventually lead to the famous “Stanley knife” 99e model. The design of which has not changed since 1961. 1999 Saw the introduction of the Fatmax tape measure, today rivalled by the new Ultra Compact Fatmax Tape measure range.

Going back even further in time Stanley first produced spirit levels in 1857. This has evolved into numerous ranges but with the internationally recognised and respected Fatmax Pro Levels as the star products.
More recently in 2015 Stanley added a modern twist to measuring with the smart measuring range.
